Bringing series of professional piano recitals & masterclasses to South London

PianoPlus is a recital series inaugurated in 2023 and dedicated to bringing the joy and vitality of classical music to audiences of all kinds.

The Co-Artistic Directors, Natalie Tsaldarakis and Panayotis Archontides, are Convivium label artists since 2020, whose long career spans over two decades performing together as the Ivory Duo Piano Ensemble. Their focus for this series is on combining innovative programming with outstanding performance and educational outreach initiatives. Guest artists continue to have ties to themes explored in Natalie's upcoming publication for Routledge ('Piano Pedagogy and Historiography in 20th c. Britain: Gordon Green (1905-1981)').

The Directors believe that the transformative power of classical music should be accessible to everyone. They also want to open up the opportunities for young pianists to encounter professional concert pianists, often affiliated with higher education establishments, in a more intimate venue in south London. In its fourth edition this year, PianoPlus continues to feature some of Britain's most exciting composers and pianists, bringing a large range of programmes that are sure to delight and inspire our audiences, while offering opportunities for aspiring musicians to develop their skills in masterclasses, workshops, competitions and performance platforms.
